What Is Yoga?
Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. Yoga is a philosophy, a science, and an art rather than a religion. Yoga is a practical tool for uniting the mind, body and spirit for overall well-being.
Through the practice of asanas (postures), the body can develop strength, balance and flexibility. Through pranayama (breath control) the mind can develop focus and concentration. Through meditation the mind and body become still and the spirit awakens.
